We are thankful to God for allowing us to see another year.
This year the executive committee has plans to engage you as
individuals and as a church within a church.
Our theme for 2023 is “Standing on the Promises of God.”
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for
God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled
for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us; (Hebrews
6:18 KJV)
To be “standing on the promises of God” is not only to have
complete assurance in your fulfillment, but to live one’s life in
faithful service to the One who made those promises. God has
already fulfilled many of the promises He made to mankind in
the past. What is the meaning of standing for God? It means
that we will not bow down or give in, or be persuaded to do
anything contrary to God’s will.
Last year the United Methodist Church lost many churches for
whatever reason God knows. But we, the TWKBMCR, are still
standing through the test of times! It is because our faith in
God’s word is embedded in our hearts and souls to do the
work that He has put in us.
The Calendar has a list of events in which you and your church
can participate.
